Position Tracking

The Caribbean 1500 will again be sailing to hospitable Village Cay Marina on Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands.  The fleet will gather in Hampton, VA for briefings, inspections, final preparations, and great social events, leading to the start.

Underway, participants can look forward to:

  • Twice daily chat hours
  • Daily weather briefings
  • Problem-solving sessions with experienced offshore sailors
  • Lots of fish stories

Champagne, awards, and parties welcome the fleet into Village Cay Marina in Roadtown, Tortola at passage end.

As a special service to boat owners who need a cost-effective way to deliver their boat to the Caribbean, but don't have time to do it themselves, the Cruising Rally Association will enlist the support of its highly-experienced staff to help.  No need to worry about taking the time off from work for the passage.  Just make plans to enjoy winter vacations in the Caribbean on your own boat. Contact Us to find out more.

"We were happy to hear about the new developments at the Caribbean 1500, and, of course, have serious nostalgic feelings every time we know they are departing. The year we left was cold, cold, cold. But I still remember it as one of the big time events of our lives."
